What strapping types does the FORTREX tool support?
The FORTREX tool is compatible with both polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) poly strapping, from 13mm to 19mm in width and 0.5–1.2mm thickness. It is engineered for poly strapping — it does not run steel strapping.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Under typical warehouse conditions, the 18V 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery delivers a full shift of strapping on a single charge. The tool ships with 2 × 18V batteries so one can charge while the other is in use — meaning zero downtime across multi-shift operations.
How fast is it to use?
From loading the strap to a fully sealed and cut join takes under 8 seconds. The tool can run up to 45 straps per minute in continuous operation.
Can I adjust the tension?
Yes. The digital LED display lets you dial in precise, repeatable tension from 600 N for lighter goods up to 3,500 N for heavy pallets — so you get a consistent, controlled seal on every load type.
What's included in the box?
Each FORTREX tool comes with 2 × 18V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, a fast charger (90-minute charge time), and a carry case. Just add your poly strapping and you're ready to go.
